We offer physical therapy for all musculoskeletal conditions, including athletic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, work-related injuries, and management of chronic aches and pains. Our staff is trained to address not only the symptomatic area, but also to identify compensatory movement patterns that may be a contributing factor.
The foundation of our assessment is the use of the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) in conjunction with the Movement System Impairment (MSI) assessment developed at Washington University.
The SFMA is a series of tests that help identify areas of concern and need for treatment, including manual therapy, corrective exercise, and other therapeutic modalities.
The MSI assessment is a functional application of anatomy and kinesiology designed to identify regions of the body that are not properly aligned at rest and/or during activity.
The goal of our rehabilitation program is to ensure complete recovery and return to previous levels of activity. This may include completing sport-specific testing to determine an athlete’s readiness to return to sport participation or assessing work duties to assess an individual’s ability to safely return to work.
